    Reseting the brake service indication of a bmw e90 results in trouble codes in the dsc unit. The codes are saying the service distance is implausible. This is due to the tool resetting the value to 255% instead of 100%. How do I fix this. Customer is not happy with this.

     I used the Service > CBC (I think) menu for the brake reprogramming on an E92.  Worked fine.  The car needs to be turned off and on for the brake light to disappear.

    Otherwise, you can always reset the brake light via the steering wheel console stick.  Countless You Tube videos for that.
